Irwin Mitchell has appointed Vijay Bange as partner and head of its national construction and engineering team.
Bange has more than 30 years’ experience in the sector, having held senior roles at Trowers & Hamlins and Pinsent Masons.
Most recently, he was chair of the international arbitration division and construction lead partner at Duane Morris in London.
At Irwin Mitchell, Bange will be based in the London office and lead the national team with a focus on growth.

Bange’s appointment follows the recent recruitment of construction disputes partner Alex Delin from Fieldfisher and adds to the non-contentious practice led by partner Robert Tunningley.
