Specialist mortgage lender Pepper Money has appointed Michelle Walsh as regional development manager for the North West.
The appointment strengthens the lender’s regional presence and reflects its ongoing commitment to recruiting experienced talent from across the mortgage industry.
Walsh joins Pepper Money after more than twelve years with Nationwide, where she built a strong reputation for supporting brokers across the North West and most recently served as a business development manager.
Her career has been defined by a focus on financial inclusion, technical expertise, and helping customers access the finance they need.
Before Nationwide, she spent over a decade as a branch manager at Britannia Building Society, where she championed transparent financial advice and forged lasting relationships with customers and brokers in the local community.
At Pepper Money, Walsh will help brokers support customers whose circumstances fall outside traditional lending criteria, including self-employed borrowers, first-time buyers, and those with irregular incomes or limited credit histories.
Her experience in customer-focused financial services gives her a clear understanding of both the challenges customers face and the role brokers play in delivering practical solutions.
