Persimmon has acquired Warwickshire-based planning promotion company, Lone Star Limited (LSL).
The move adds more expertise and relationships to Persimmon’s strategic land team.
LSL’s staff will stay in place, ensuring continuity for landowners and agents.
LSL will keep operating as a land promotion business, with managing director Richard Burke leading the team.
The focus will be on securing medium to large sites and growing the pipeline in attractive areas.
Liam Scott, deputy UK managing director of Persimmon, said: “Persimmon is delighted to announce the acquisition of Lone Star Land Limited.
“This investment strengthens Persimmon’s strategic land platform and supports our broader growth ambitions.
“By combining Lone Star’s expertise with our own, we can unlock new land opportunities, creating long-term value for our partners, stakeholders and communities.”
Scott added: “And importantly, by retaining Lone Star’s experienced team we’re ensuring continuity and enhancing our ability to deliver on Persimmon’s growth plans.”
Richard Burke, managing director at LSL, said: “We’re delighted to be joining Persimmon as we look to strengthen and expand Lone Star’s position in the market.
“This partnership provides the opportunity to leverage Persimmon’s scale and expertise, building on our existing long-standing relationships.
“I look forward to working with colleagues and customers alike to identify and accelerate both existing and new opportunities in the years ahead.”
