HM Land Registry completed 1,983,030 applications in September 2025, up from 1,748,118 in August and 1,934,916 in September 2024.
The South East had the highest number of regional applications, with 445,564.
Out of the total, 325,589 were applications for register updates, compared to 285,459 in August.
There were 1,114,585 applications for an official copy of a register, up from 986,558 the previous month.
Official search and hold queries reached 223,170, compared to 193,398 in August.
Transactions for value stood at 86,570, down from 94,756 in August.
Postal applications from non-account holders totalled 15,389, compared to 15,105 in August.
