The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has revealed the winners of its Personal Finance Awards 2025/26 at a ceremony in London.
The awards highlighted work in financial planning by advisers, paraplanners and their teams.
Sarah Pennells, consumer finance specialist at Royal London, hosted the event with over 60 delegates attending.
Dominic McLoughney of Becketts FS was named Chartered Financial Planner of the Year for his contributions to professional standards and consumer trust.
Progeny Wealth picked up the Chartered Financial Planning Firm of the Year award, recognised for its staff development, ethical culture and customer care.
Stephanie Tennant of Accelerate Adviser Solutions was named Paraplanner of the Year.
Simon Watts of Boolers Investment received Advice Specialist of the Year, while Eamonn Prendergast of Palantir Financial Planning secured Retirement and Later Life Advice Specialist of the Year.
Michael Colyer of Colyer Associates, last year’s Chartered Financial Planner of the Year, won Protection Advice Specialist of the Year.
Robert Boland of Cotswold Independent Financial Services took the Champion of Change award for work in driving positive change in the sector.
PFS members voted FT Adviser as Personal Finance News Outlet of the Year for the third year running.
Rhiannon Gogh received the Highly Commended Chartered Individual award, De Mellow & Co. was highly commended as a Chartered Firm, and David Thomson was highly commended in the Investment category.
