Pegasus Group has taken on two new directors in its planning team, with Clare Preece joining the London office and Simon Handy joining in Manchester.
The appointments come as the firm looks to meet rising client demand for planning expertise on housing, regeneration and commercial projects across the country.
Handy joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate, previously Strutt & Parker, where he led the Oxford office.
He has 18 years’ experience across public and private sectors, covering residential, mixed-use, industrial and rural developments.
Handy will focus on growing Pegasus’ client base and projects in the North and Midlands.

Preece joins as director of planning in London from planning consultancy Fuller Long, where she helped build the planning team.
She brings over 25 years of experience in both public and private sectors, having worked on residential, office, mixed-use, school, care home and heritage projects.

“Along with my planning colleagues across the country, I’ll be reinforcing Pegasus’ stellar reputation as one of the go-to consultancies for clients seeking planning advice.”
