Santander cuts home mover mortgage rates across residential and new build ranges

Santander has announced a series of rate reductions on its home mover and new build home mover fixed-rate mortgage products, effective from today, Monday 3rd November.

As part of the bank’s ‘no dual pricing’ commitment, the new lower rates will be available to all customers, whether they apply directly or through a broker.

For home movers, 2-, 3- and 5-year fixed rates have been reduced by up to 0.10%, with cuts applying across 75%, 85%, 90%, and 95% loan-to-value (LTV) tiers.

The 75% LTV 3-year fixed rate with a £999 fee and £250 cashback has fallen by 0.10% to 3.86%, while the 85% LTV 5-year fixed rate with no fee and £250 cashback has reduced by 0.02% to 4.33%.

The 90% LTV 2-year fixed rate with a £999 fee and £250 cashback is now 4.30%, down by 0.02%, and the 95% LTV 5-year fixed rate with no fee and £250 cashback has decreased by 0.02% to 4.84%.

For new build home hovers, rate reductions mirror those in the standard range, with cuts of up to 0.10% across multiple LTV tiers.

The 75% LTV 2-year fixed new build exclusive with a £999 fee and £250 cashback has dropped by 0.10% to 3.86%, while the 85% LTV 2-year fixed new build exclusive with no fee and £250 cashback has been reduced by 0.04% to 4.34%.

The 90% LTV 5-year fixed new build exclusive with a £999 fee and £250 cashback is now 4.39%, down 0.03%, and the 95% LTV 2-year fixed new build exclusive with no fee and £250 cashback has decreased by 0.03% to 4.92%.

The changes mark Santander’s latest move to support movers and new build buyers with lower rates amid ongoing affordability pressures.
