Pulse Finance appoints Rachael Burling as BDM

Pulse Finance has appointed Rachael Burling as business development manager (BDM) to help support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the UK.

Burling’s role is to expand Pulse Finance’s reach and improve access to flexible finance for firms.

She brings over 10 years of experience in the Australian financial services sector and joins from Spenda, a business platform that provides software solutions and payment processing.

Before that, Burling worked at The Invoice Market and Earlypay, delivering invoice finance solutions to a range of businesses and developing relationships with financial advisors.

Burling said: “It’s a really challenging time for UK SMEs with no sign of a change in conditions any time soon.

“I’m passionate about enabling business owners to grow their firms by providing the resources they need to support their plans.

“SMEs are the backbone of the UK economy, and providing them with flexible, transparent finance solutions from a reliable financial partner that they can trust is essential for sustainable growth.”

Burling added: “I look forward to helping more businesses access the capital and support they need to thrive.”

Gary Davis, head of sales at Pulse Finance, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Rachael to the Pulse Finance team.

“Her experience and enthusiasm in building strategic partnerships and deep understanding of SME finance will be instrumental in helping UK businesses access the funding they need to grow.

“With lending conditions tightening we are increasing our focus on reaching out to SMES to ensure they have access to flexible funding packages to support their businesses.”
