Investec Bank plc has joined the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) as a Patron, reinforcing its commitment to supporting brokers and promoting professionalism across the UK commercial finance sector.
The partnership brings together Investec Asset Finance (IAF) and Investec Capital Solutions (ICS), its asset and invoice finance divisions, with the UK’s largest trade body for commercial finance intermediaries.
The NACFB represents more than 2,500 members, promoting transparency, collaboration and best practice across the industry.
As a Patron, Investec will work closely with the NACFB to build stronger relationships between brokers and lenders, enhance compliance and professional development, and encourage business growth through improved communication and shared expertise.
Stuart Hughes, head of intermediary relations at Investec Asset Finance, said: “We’re delighted to become a Patron of the NACFB and to play a role in fostering stronger relationships across the broker market.
“Joining as a Patron reflects our commitment to supporting brokers who are helping drive the growth of the UK economy through their support of SMEs, providing the financing businesses need to invest and expand.
“It also reinforces our focus on helping brokers deliver the highest levels of professionalism and client service, and on building a more cohesive and supportive industry that benefits clients, intermediaries and lenders alike.”
NACFB chief executive officer Jim Higginbotham added: “I am absolutely delighted that Investec has joined the NACFB as Patron. For me this is a huge endorsement of the hard work and progress we have made in the last 12 months to position the NACFB as a credible voice to represent the entire commercial finance community, including the asset finance and invoice finance worlds.
“To have Investec with us as a valued Patron sends a strong message to the industry that we are doing the right things.”
