Paragon Bank’s development finance division has provided a £10.3m facility to Eccleston Homes to support the delivery of Brook House Place, a new 57-home residential scheme in the centre of Urmston, Greater Manchester.
The development, which began construction in May 2025, is progressing well, with the first properties expected to be ready by spring 2026.
Brook House Place will offer a mix of energy-efficient homes designed for modern living, ranging from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom family houses.
The scheme will include shared ownership and affordable rent options, supporting Trafford’s strategy to expand access to quality housing and help more residents onto the property ladder.
The funding package was led by Simon Dekker, senior relationship director at Paragon Bank, with support from portfolio manager Izzy Sargeant.
Dekker said: “Brook House Place is a scheme that reflects the best of modern residential development and, as a development funder working with hundreds of SME developers across the UK, we’re thrilled to be supporting Eccleston Homes to deliver much needed quality homes for the North West – contributing to the region’s continued growth and vibrancy.
“Eccleston Homes’ commitment to quality and community makes them an ideal partner for Paragon.”
Eccleston Homes, known for design-led and energy-efficient homes across the North West, described the scheme as one of its most significant.
Founder and managing director, Kevin Marren, said: “Brook House Place is a flagship development for Eccleston Homes, combining thoughtful design, energy efficient functionality, with bold urban architecture.
“Thanks to Paragon’s flexible funding and incisive counsel, we’re able to offer a range of homes and tenures to meet the needs of Urmston’s diverse community and look forward to welcoming our first residents in early 2026.”
