Source Insurance has formed a strategic partnership with ActiveQuote to introduce a new private medical insurance referral option for directly authorised advisers.
The collaboration enables advisers using the Source platform to refer clients for PMI immediately after submitting a home or landlord insurance quote or directly at any time, providing greater flexibility when discussing protection needs.
Source said the development supports its wider strategy to help advisers streamline protection conversations by bringing home, landlord and health insurance options into a single platform.
The firm said the partnership reflects rising demand for private healthcare following the pandemic and ongoing pressure on NHS services, making PMI an increasingly important part of a holistic protection approach.
Jonathan Pinkerton, finance and insurer relationship director at Source Insurance, said: “At Source, we are always looking to add value to our broker community.
“We’re proud to partner with ActiveQuote to give advisers and their clients more ways to access private medical insurance.
“By combining our expertise in general insurance with ActiveQuote’s specialist knowledge in PMI, we’re making it easier for advisers to deliver holistic protection solutions.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to simplifying the advice process, strengthening client relationships and helping more people access the right cover, at a time when demand for flexible, comprehensive protection has never been greater.”
Rob Saunders, managing director at ActiveQuote, said: “We’re excited to partner with Source to give advisers seamless access to private medical insurance solutions for their clients.
“By integrating PMI referrals directly within the Source platform, advisers can provide a more complete protection package, helping clients safeguard both their homes and their health.
“This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting advisers with innovative tools and solutions that make delivering comprehensive protection easier than ever.”
