The Right Mortgage appoints Robyn Truslove as mortgage development manager

The Right Mortgage & Protection Network has appointed Robyn Truslove as its new mortgage development manager as part of a wider refresh of its national accounts structure.

Truslove will work alongside Victoria Clark, head of lending, to deliver mortgage support to network member firms, build and maintain relationships, enhance the mortgage proposition and support adviser development and productivity.

Truslove brings more than five years of experience in protection and business development, joining from Group company The Right Advice where she has worked as a mortgage and protection specialist since 2021.

She previously held roles as a mortgage and protection adviser and has been part of the Group for several years.

Alongside the appointment, The Right Mortgage has restructured its national account managers and support teams into a new three-region model.

The regions will be led by Chelsea Kiefert covering the South West, Wales and the Midlands; Kim Lissner overseeing the South East; and Jaydn Rigley responsible for Scotland, Northern Ireland, the North and North West.

The regional teams will focus on identifying firms with strong growth plans and supporting them in achieving their business development goals.

The network said strengthening relationships with appointed representative firms remains a core priority, with an emphasis on proactive communication and swift issue resolution.

National account managers will oversee firm relationships across their regions and lead recruitment activity with growth-focused firms.

Victoria Clark, head of lending at The Right Mortgage & Protection Network, said: “Having Robyn as a part of the team with her years of experience in mortgages, protection, adviser training, and business development is such an asset.

“She brings a wealth of experience that will further strengthen the TRM proposition, as well as working closely with our advisers.

“She has a proven track record of delivering outstanding client outcomes, and we’re confident she’ll make a valuable contribution to firms right across the network.

“Along with the new regional restructure, we believe this will allow us to better support all our firms and advisers, identifying growth-focused members and offering them enhanced support to meet their goals and ambitions.”

Truslove said: “I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of mortgage development manager within the network; it’s a business I have always believed in and have loved being a part of.

“Our advisers are at the heart of what we do and I’m really looking forward to helping them grow as individuals and as businesses.”
