AZ Real Estate has reached over £15m in property deals so far this year, with most transactions in the mid-prime apartment market.
The boutique London agency handled a £3.5m purchase at Native Land’s 100 George Street and a £2.85m home at Abell & Cleland in Westminster for buyers looking for international secondary residences.
The agency has also sold homes at Ballymore’s Pan Peninsula in Canary Wharf and at various Berkeley Group projects, including Grand Union in Wembley, One Tower Hill, Goodmans Fields, and Abell House.
Alisa Zotimova (pictured), founder and CEO at AZ Real Estate, said: “Despite there being a lot of doom and gloom around apartments in the capital, we are seeing there is still demand for premium quality, expansive units in the right developments.
“However, rising service charges are a real concern, as are certain unorganised management companies which are causing deals to take a long time to progress.
“Undoubtedly, it has been a challenging year with low sales volumes overall particularly at over £5mn but deals are being done in the mid-tier area and it is a buyer’s market with a good amount of stock available at competitive prices.”
Zotimova added: “Naturally there is the usual period of stagnation ahead of the Budget as both buyers and sellers sit tight, with Labour knowing that housing is a key battleground for consumer confidence.”
