Dorchester Living donates to Homeless Oxfordshire to tackle rising homelessness

Dorchester Living has donated to Homeless Oxfordshire, starting a partnership aimed at tackling homelessness and housing uncertainty in the region.

Paul Silver, CEO at Dorchester Living, said: “At Dorchester Living, we believe that an honest, sustainable community goes further than just building houses; it’s about creating opportunities, security and amenities for everyone.

“We need to start thinking about homelessness as a national problem and make planning decisions that help human beings.

“We are proud to support the crucial work Homeless Oxfordshire does through helping some of the most vulnerable people in our county and we hope to continue this partnership and be involved in helping improve lives and assisting with building and renovations works on their properties going forward.”

Silver added: “At Dorchester Living we hope to help individuals achieve sustainable, liveable homes.

“The donation marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between our two organisations as we work together to help tackle homelessness and housing inequality across Oxfordshire.”

Simon Hewett-Avison, CEO at Homeless Oxfordshire, said: “We’re so grateful to Dorchester Living for their generous donation, which will help us to provide crucial services to people experiencing homelessness across Oxfordshire.

“With their ongoing support, we hope we can boost awareness of the housing and homelessness crisis in our county and ensure that we are always here to help those that are affected by it.”
