Broadstone appoints Damien Burke as head of regulatory practice

Broadstone has appointed Damien Burke (pictured) as head of regulatory practice. 

Burke brings over 25 years’ experience in banking and lending, with a background in credit risk analytics, compliance, and regulatory work. 

His technical expertise includes IFRS 9, Basel capital calculations and experience in SMF 1 and SMF 3 roles. 

He has also developed strategy and frameworks for governance, internal controls, and policy.

Burke was previously a partner and head of regulatory practice at 4most from 2015 to 2021, and CEO at Custom Credit until May this year.
