Gatehouse Bank has extended its partnership with youth homelessness charity Depaul UK for a further two years, taking the collaboration through to December 2027.
The Bank’s CEO, Charles Haresnape, has also joined Depaul UK’s Council of Trustees, deepening the organisation’s involvement in the charity’s work.
The partnership began in January 2025 after Gatehouse Bank colleagues selected Depaul UK as the firm’s charity partner for the year.
Since then, staff have taken part in fundraising activities and hands-on volunteering.
Extending the relationship aligns with Gatehouse Bank’s ESG ambitions and is intended to provide longer-term support for Depaul UK’s services and programmes.
As a trustee, Haresnape will support the charity’s work to prevent and alleviate youth homelessness, helping shape its long-term strategy and impact.
He said: “I am incredibly proud of the hard work of colleagues from across the Bank who are dedicated to the cause and are committed to creating real, lasting change.
“Thanks to all colleagues who have already fundraised and volunteered throughout the year, and I look forward to seeing what we can collectively achieve as we deepen our partnership with Depaul UK.”
He added: “After hearing first-hand stories of those whose lives have been changed by Depaul UK, I knew I wanted to personally do more to support the charity’s mission to end youth homelessness.
“My new role as a Trustee will allow me to achieve this.”
