VASO by Eco visited the Scottish Parliament to present its construction solution to the Cross Party Group for Housing.
Gary Robertson (pictured, left), opportunity strategist at Eco Group, and Simon Parrish (pictured, right), chief technical officer, presented to the Cross Party Group for Housing at the invitation of Graham Simpson MSP.
Robertson said: “We were delighted to be invited to visit the Scottish Parliament by Graham Simpson MSP and be given the opportunity to present our innovation.
“Scotland has the chance to lead the transition to low-carbon housing and industrialised construction is central to that shift.
“Our innovation allows communities to benefit from energy-efficient homes that are quicker to build and can be constructed at volume.”
Robertson added: “Sustainable homes need to be affordable, warm and healthy for residents to live in, which is why we’re proud to have developed a system which meets those needs.
“By embedding smart, scalable solutions into the fabric of modern construction, VASO enables faster delivery, improved energy efficiency and long-term sustainability – without compromising on design or cost-effectiveness.
“Thermally efficient buildings create the ideal conditions for heat pumps, solar arrays, and battery storage to operate at their highest efficiency and lowest cost.”
He said: “This synergy leads to dramatically reduced energy bills, lower carbon emissions, and a more resilient, future-proof building.
“Sharing our innovation and ethos with the Cross Party Group highlighted a shared commitment to ensuring Scottish households are benefitting from energy efficiency and affordable bills.”
