The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) revealed a new programme of free Renters’ Rights Act webinars, with four dates scheduled for January and February 2026.
The first webinar, supported by RentGuarantor, will cover what student landlords need to know to stay compliant.
The event is scheduled for 7th January from 11am to 12 noon on Zoom.
The second session, on 21st January, will look at new rules for tenants with pets.
Under the Act, landlords must consider all pet requests and cannot refuse them unreasonably.
The webinar will focus on how to handle pet requests and minimise risk of damage.
It will also run from 11am to 12 noon.
A further webinar will cover houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) on 4th February.
It will address issues such as the end of fixed terms, managing antisocial behaviour and starting new tenancies.
All webinars will include a live Q&A after the main presentation.
