Date for National Later Life Adviser Conference 2022 confirmed

‘The National Later Life Adviser Conference – Later Life Lending and Beyond’, hosted by Air Group will take place on Thursday, 16 June 2022 at The National Space Centre in Leicester.

Running from 9am to 6pm, delegates will enjoy the opportunity to network, build their knowledge of the sector and also even explore the venue’s museum.

Sessions led by high profile speakers will include vulnerability, marketing your business, estate planning, care funding and navigating the customer journey.

Stuart Wilson, chief executive officer at Air Group, will also lead a dedicated session on the new Air Group market positioning, outlining what it means and how the update will benefit advisers.

Part of this will be the official relaunch of the Air Academy which has provided consistently high quality training and support for Air members since launch in 2014.

Standard Life Home Finance is the headline sponsor, alongside 13 other sponsors who will host exhibitions. Kay Westgarth, head of sales at Standard Life Home Finance is also speaking at the event.

Selected highlights on the speaker list include Philip Calvert (the well-known sales and marketing keynote speaker), John Somerville (London Institute of Banking and Finance), Al Gardiner (chief executive of The Honey Group) and Jacqueline Berry (founding director of My Care Consultant).

Tim Peake, astronaut, and former International Space Station crew member, will also deliver a keynote speech at the event.

Stuart Wilson, chief executive Officer at Air Group, said: “We are delighted to launch our first physical National Later Life Adviser Conference in three years with a strong line up of speakers at a fantastic venue.

“The pandemic has been a challenge for the sector but as we return to more normal trading conditions now is the time to help advisers build their businesses by sharing knowledge and bringing the industry together under one roof.

“Far from being another talking shop, we are focused on providing tangible benefits including education, resources, and best practice approaches for tackling the biggest challenges in the later life finance market.

“To mark the occasion, Air will also be outlining its new market position as well as relaunching Air Academy – both steps that will benefit advisers, partners and the wider industry.  There is a lot to be positive about and we look forward to sharing this with delegates in June.”
