Vida, the lending specialist, has appointed Sophie Burton (pictured) as key account manager for the Midlands.
Burton will report directly to Richard Tugwell, director of mortgage distribution at Vida.
She has extensive experience in the mortgage sector, covering both retail and intermediary distribution.
She has strong relationships across the Midlands, with a wealth of knowledge in both residential and buy-to-let lending.
Burton joins from Nationwide Building Society where she spent over 14 years as business development manager.
Tugwell said: “I am delighted to welcome Sophie to our sales team. She brings strong knowledge of the intermediary market and is already enhancing and developing long term relationships with her intermediary partners.
“Vida remains a relatively young company and we are at an important and exciting time in the development of the business.
