The specialist lender said the partnership will provide advisers with additional options for borrowers whose circumstances fall outside the criteria of many mainstream lenders.

Afin Bank has promoted Anum Mahmood to national sales director as the specialist lender prepares to recruit more BDMs and launch a regulated bridging proposition.

In addition to offering higher LTVs, Afin’s bridging product also rolls up interest to be paid at the end of the loan.

Afin Bank has added L&C Mortgages to its broker panel, extending access to its residential and buy-to-let products for borrowers with more complex financial circumstances.

Lankey joined Afin Bank as director of credit during its launch phase last year before becoming national sales director at the start of 2026, taking responsibility for the sales team.

Jeffs joins from the Nottingham Building Society where she was senior mortgage propositions manager.

Paradigm Mortgage Services has added Afin Bank to its lender panel, expanding access to specialist residential and buy-to-let lending options for member firms.

The initiative applies across purchase mortgages and is expected to particularly benefit first-time buyers.
