MPs urge Government to address housing crisis by bringing empty homes back into use
MPs are calling on the Government to address the housing crisis by tackling England's 265,000 long-term empty homes. Paula Barker MP has warned that it is “not right” for properties to sit vacant while over 123,000 households live in costly temporary accommodation. Proposals include a national empty homes strategy, council reforms and changes to probate rules.
