The three-year scheme will target homes that need the most improvement, aiming to bring all properties up to at least an EPC rating of C.

Octopus Energy and Rightmove will roll out new tools and information to show how low carbon technology can cut bills and boost property value.Â

The project is led by gs8 and supported with a £20m loan from Octopus Capital’s Greener Homes Alliance.Â

The housing will be tenure blind and policy compliant, aimed at meeting local housing needs.

The scheme will go up on a former poultry site and will include a mix of one to four-bedroom homes, aiming for EPC ratings of B and above.Â

The development will replace a vacant building and aims to offer homes suitable for first-time buyers (FTBs), families, and downsizers.

Mortgage advisers can access the entire Propflo platform including the ‘GreenVal’ tool.

Rachel Buxton at Lloyds Banking Group, said that while green finance might sound simple, the reality is far more complex from a lender's point of view.
