The Mortgage Lender launched a 5-year fixed rate starting from 4.74%, and Shawbrook’s specialist BTL rates dropped by up to 0.25%.Â

The Mortgage Lender has reduced rates across its buy-to-let range and added a new £500 cashback offer for HMO landlords.

According to TML research, 36% said they were rejected because their profession was considered unsteady, and 29% said their income was too volatile.Â

This includes the lender’s 5-year fixed rate standard products reducing by 0.05%, its 5-year fixed rate houses in multiple occupation (HMO) product reducing by 0.10%.

Selected BTL rates have fallen by 0.05%, including options like the 5-year 75% LTV fee range up to £500,000.

The Mortgage Lender has introduced automated income verification and other enhancements to streamline the broker experience.
