Legal & General Mortgage Club adds MHBS to lender panel

As of today, Legal & General Mortgage Club has added Market Harborough Building Society (MHBS) to its lender panel.

Advisers looking to place business with MHBS via Legal & General Mortgage Club will now benefit from access to its full specialist product range.

Market Harborough Building Society provides mortgage and remortgage solutions for cases up to £3.5m, with a maximum loan to value (LTV) of 75%.

It caters for clients with complex circumstances, including: residential with complex property or income, bridging, multi-generation mortgages, expat residential and let, as well as holiday let.

MHBS recently launched a range of mortgages suitable for loans up to £3.5m, as well as two limited edition 3-year discounted rate holiday let products for both mortgage and remortgage.

Clare Beardmore, director at Legal & General Mortgage Club, said: “With the market continuing to move at pace, it is crucial that we continue to evaluate our relationships and services.

“We are proud of today’s announcement, and the results we expect it to offer to our trusted brokers.

“By including a broad range of product types, including expat, multi-generation, bridging, and high-net-worth, today’s announcement should be a comprehensive addition to our already impressive product offering.

“The mortgage market serves an extremely varied group of customers, so it is only right that the products on offer also share the same diversity.”

Iain Kirkpatrick, CEO at Market Harborough Building Society, added: “Partnering with Legal & General Mortgage Club comes at an exciting time for MHBS.

“We were one of the first to announce a minimum product withdrawal notice of 24 hours and live up to it.

“We’ve also won a Feefo Gold Trusted Service Award for the second year running thanks to our intermediaries who tell us they value our expertise and can-do approach.

“This, combined with our online application system Case Hub, means we deliver straightforward processing for your complex mortgage cases. We can’t wait to work with Legal & General members.”
