Ortus Secured Finance introduces new 5-year commercial mortgage

Ortus Secured Finance has launched a 5-year mortgage product aimed at commercial property investors and owner-occupiers.

This new offering combines the stability of long-term financing with the flexibility often associated with bridging loans.

Key aspects of the new mortgage include a 5-year term, a maximum loan-to-value (LTV) of 65%, and loan amounts ranging from £500,000 to £25m.

It also allows for up to 10% annual overpayment without early repayment charges, starting from the third year.

The interest cover ratio (ICR) is 100% from 5.5% plus the Bank of England Base Rate.

Jamie Russell, commercial director at Ortus Secured Finance, said: “We have focused on commercial property since our inception.

“Offering 5-year commercial loans is a natural extension of our services.

“This new product allows us to support our clients and introducers more effectively, especially those moving beyond bridging or acquisition loans.”
