Minister Lee Rowley added to Propertymark conference line-up

Lee Rowley (pictured), Minster of State for the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has been confirmed as the keynote speaker at Propertymark’s upcoming conference.

Those joining the Propertymark One Conference, which is in partnership with Rightmove, will have the opportunity to hear directly from the Government, as the Minister shares the latest insight on leasehold and freehold reform, building safety, renters reform, regulation and redress from the heart of government.

Previously, Rowley was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and Government Whip and Lord Commissioner of HM Treasury.

He was elected the Conservative MP for North East Derbyshire on 8 June 2017.

Jason Lee, head of commercial at Propertymark, said: “We are delighted to announce that the Housing Minister will be giving a keynote address to members and the wider industry at our Propertymark One Conference in June.

“Key changes to housing legislation are going through Parliament that will impact the housing and property sector, so delegates will hear directly how the UK Government’s plans will impact them and their businesses.

“Propertymark agents have a key role to play in ensuring the regulations are implemented, and by attending, will know how they can play their part in the roll out of reforms.”
