Clydesdale Bank increases rates on residential mortgages

Clydesdale Bank is set to make a number of rate increases across its mortgage range as of tomorrow, Friday 3rd May.

In its exclusive residential range, 75% loan-to-value (LTV) remortgage 2- and 5-year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.30%, while selected purchase 2- and 5-year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.30%.

In addition, 65% and 75% LTV £1m to £2m 2- and 5-year fixed rates will also be increased by 0.20%.

Clydesdale will also be increasing its 75% LTV 2- and 5-year fixed rate professional products by up to 0.35%, alone with its offset discount products, which will see rises of up to 0.35%.

All of its 65% and 75% LTV 2- and 5-year fixed rate new and existing customer products will be increased by 0.20%.

The lender will also be moving all end dates will move to August of the relevant year.

Clydesdale has urged brokers applying for one of these products on behalf of their customer to submit applications by 8pm today.
