Monument Bank has appointed Anita Maclean as chief of staff.
In her new role, Maclean will support the senior leadership team in order to drive company-wide progress on critical projects and strategic initiatives.
Welcoming the appointment, chief executive Ian Rand said: “I look forward to working with Anita as part of the executive team. This is a crucial role, actively driving progress around our company goals, and co-ordinating operations and business planning.”
With more than 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, Maclean most recently held several leadership roles at digital start-up banks Recognise Bank and Revverbank.
Prior to this, she held a number of strategic leadership roles in commercial, corporate, and investment banking at leading firms including: COO at Santander Corporate & Commercial, head of DCM Europe at BNP Paribas, and chief of staff & DCM origination at Deutsche Bank.
Maclean is also a member of Women on Boards UK and holds a BSc degree in Psychology from the University of Durham.
