Alex Windle joins the West Brom as chief customer officer

The West Brom has announced the appointment of Alex Windle as its new chief customer officer, effective immediately.

As part of his role, Windle will join the Executive Committee and report directly to chief executive Jonathan Westhoff.

Windle comes to the West Brom with an extensive background in strategy, marketing, and commercial functions. His former roles include chief transformation officer and chief customer officer at The Cumberland, and he has held senior positions at BP, LG Electronics, and Vodafone in the UK and abroad.

Westhoff said: “Alex joins us at an exciting time, bringing a broad range of experience from both the mutual sector and beyond. I’m looking forward to Alex building on our solid foundations to ensure our customers continue to receive the products and services they require.”

Expressing enthusiasm for his new role, Windle added: “The West Brom has delighted its customers and community with great products and excellent customer service for almost 175 years.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team on how we will enhance what we do to meet the changing needs of our existing and future customers, our colleagues and our intermediary partners.”
