Advise Wise introduces new feature to help with Consumer Duty compliance

Advise Wise has introduced a new appointment log feature, allowing advisers to record appointments with clients to enhance their client case management, helping them comply with Consumer Duty requirements.

The tool empowers later life financial advisers to efficiently record the type of appointments held with their clients and track the attendees present.

The new feature helps brokers to keep record of all client appointments and assists them in meeting their regulatory obligations, specifically the Consumer Duty requirement to document client interactions.

The appointment log feature is designed to simplify the process of capturing and organising crucial appointment details within the Advise Wise Platform.

Advisers can now log the date and the type of appointments conducted with clients- for example indicating if the meeting was in person, on the phone or on video conference- specify who was present at each appointment and add their meeting notes.

By leveraging this functionality, advisers gain a comprehensive overview of client interactions, allowing for more effective case management and improved customer service.

Jonathan Thirkill (pictured), CEO of Advise Wise, said: “We are thrilled to introduce the appointment log feature on the Advise Wise Platform.

“Our goal has always been to equip financial advisers with the tools they need to streamline their operations and provide exceptional service to their clients.

“With this new feature, advisers can easily manage client cases and meet their regulatory obligations, enhancing overall efficiency and client satisfaction.”

He added: “This feature’s introduction marks another milestone in Advise Wise’s commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that facilitate seamless advisory processes, whilst supporting Advise Wise members with Consumer Duty requirements.

“The Consumer Duty mandates advisers to maintain accurate records of client interactions, ensuring transparency, and promoting fair treatment.”

The Adviser Appointment Entry feature is now available to all Advise Wise Platform users.

Advisers can access the feature by logging into their accounts and navigating to the client’s page.

Thirkill concluded: “By incorporating the Appointment log feature on the client’s page within the Advise Wise Platform, advisers can effortlessly maintain a comprehensive log of appointments, demonstrating their commitment to regulatory compliance.

“Plus they can now easily track and reference past interactions, enabling them to better understand their clients’ evolving needs and tailor their advice accordingly.”
