Specialist marketplace lender Assetz Capital has added Chris Causton (pictured) to its origination team.
Causton, based in South London, joins from Handelsbanken where he has spent the past five years as corporate banking manager. This follows various roles at NatWest Royal Bank of Scotland dating back to 2008 and a Personal Banking role at Barclays.
Causton’s new role at Assetz will see him work with brokers and borrowers in the Southeast and Greater London areas.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining Assetz at a key time, their growth ambition has really impressed me, and given that they are on the way to lending £2bn I’m really looking forward to contributing towards that.
“I can’t wait to see how I can help my broker relationships grow their business with the broad palette of funding solutions I now have to work with.”
