Castle Trust Bank raises £9.5k for Just4Children charity

Castle Trust Bank raised £9,500 for the Just4Children charity, with its inaugural broker Golf Day.

The charity event, which took place on Friday 14th July, was played at Guildford Golf Club and included 53 players across 14 teams.

Much of the money raised for charity came from the event’s key sponsors, which included Sirius Property Finance, Brightstar Financial, Paris Smith, Finspace and Charleston Financial.

There was also additional support from Complete FS, Coreco, Phoebus Software, Henry Riley, Brecher, Lightfoots, Mortgages by James and Whitefox.

Just4Children focuses on the relief of sickness and preservation of health of children in the UK and Ireland by providing and assisting in the provision of grants to enable them to obtain medical treatment, therapies, living environments, equipment and holidays which would not otherwise be available to them.

The Castle Trust Bank Golf Day, which included a Beat the Pro challenge, was won by a team that featured Phil Jay and Damian Cain from Complete FS, Kevin Orchard from KMC Financial and Gurgit Basi from BBA Finance.

Barry Searle, managing director property division at Castle Trust Bank, said: “I’d like to thank all of our sponsors, plus everyone who attended on the day, who helped us to raise so much money for the Just4Children charity.

“Their support helped to make this very worthwhile and enjoyable day possible, and it provided an opportunity for brokers to meet and mingle whilst enjoying a round of golf.

“We work in a competitive industry, but we mustn’t forget the value of helping others and engaging with the people with whom we work.

“Events like these can provide so many positive outcomes and we are really pleased that everyone enjoyed their day.”
