In a strategic move to reinforce support for its introducers, United Trust Bank (UTB) Mortgages for Intermediaries has unveiled new roles within its sales team to streamline growth and distribution.
Chris Pedlar and Jigar Patel have stepped into the roles of heads of specialist distribution north and south, respectively. Their focus will be on nurturing intermediary sales from UTB’s packaging partners and maintaining key broker accounts.
Hannah Oades has been appointed head of clubs and networks, tasked with the strategic advancement of these channels — a distribution area that UTB has notably expanded over the last year. Her role will encompass driving further growth and overseeing the cultivation of new partnerships, in alignment with UTB’s strategic aims.
All three will continue to report to Caroline Mirakian, director of sales & marketing – mortgages.
In light of these appointments, Mirakian said: “Chris, Jigs, and Hannah have had a brilliant last year and made substantial contributions to the development of UTB’s mortgage business.
“Their new roles recognise their hard work and expand their responsibilities, giving them new challenges and incentives to maintain the tremendous progress they have made. UTB loves its brokers, and so building scalable support to our introducers as we grow, is critical to our service proposition.”
